As a Telenor sales representative or customer service agent you'll be at the heart of our business – meeting our customers. Donning a headset for the first call of the day, or opening the doors to the store, is the core of our business. This is where we help our customers get better subscription terms, the latest device, or clear up their invoicing problem. Put simply, this is all about eliminating everyday distractions so that our customers can focus on the important things in their lives.

Our aim is even more satisfied customers and a better customer experience. We have insourced a large part of our customer service function and established a base in the heart of our Stockholm office. When we tour the store or get connected for the day's first call this is not just about sales and the satisfaction of adding another pin on the scoreboard on the wall.

When we help people restart their broadband or get a better deal on their subscription, our greater aim is always connecting people to what matters most to them. At the heart of our Stockholm office are the super-heroes in our customer service teams. I lead one of the teams, and coach, develop and inspire my team in their everyday work. I make sure we have the right people in place to achieve our overall goals and ambitions.

I've been at Telenor for some years now and think it's a great advantage to be able to "swap jobs". I’ve had several different roles, including engaging and inspiring our store teams, project management of different change projects, and serving as team leader for customer support for our other brand, Vimla. Since almost half of Telenor's recruitment base is internal, there are great opportunities to try out different roles.

Today, I'm responsible for all the stores in the Stockholm region, but I started off as a sales assistant. First with direct sales, followed by a few years in the Skärholmen store, before I was promoted to assistant sales manager. After a few years I took over the role of sales manager, and then landed the job I have today. If you're driven and dedicated, there are some great career opportunities.

The great thing about my role is that there are always areas for further improvement. I'm dedicated to achieving our targets, ensuring that we have outstanding stores and offer a world-class customer experience.

In our store, I help our customers with everything from ringtones to new SIM cards. There are also lots of conversations where I listen to customers' needs, to match them with our products and services. "I really love meeting customers and helping them solve their problems!"

Development is a key aspect of working in a store. Every day, the team gather before the store opens, to check the day's sales targets and get everyone up to speed.
