I'm responsible for 5G being rolled out as planned. I've worked in the telecom industry since the first 1G network standard at the end of the 1980s. I've witnessed the development from the introduction of mobile phones, to the spread of social media, and to being able to stream your favourite series while attesting invoices on the jetty near your summer cottage.

Everyone needs to have the opportunity to communicate and be part of the world around us, wherever we are. The mobile network makes this possible. Today, most Swedes have access to 5G, and this expansion is continuing.

I work with advanced 5G services, building a robust and reliable 5G infrastructure for the whole of society. This entails understanding innovative new solutions, keeping track of rules, understanding customers' expectations and calculating market potential and investments. Right now, I'm involved in facilitating the next steps for safe self-driving vehicles in Swedish urban environments.

With 5G, telecom is a combination of cloud operator and network supplier. No other sector has such great potential to drive the new technology that is also so challenging to achieve. The combination makes every working day exciting and worthwhile.
