In my last year at university, I attended an inspiring lecture about shopper insights. The lecturer later became my first manager, and since then I've devoted my entire career to understanding customer insights and brands.
My working day is spent on reading trend reports, running market surveys and interviewing customers, to learn more about their needs, problems and how we can help them. This is all boiled down to insights that I analyse so that we can better customise what we have to offer. "I wouldn’t survive a day without Excel and PowerPoint!"

I'm responsible for a team of 12 salespeople who manage relationships with our largest corporate customers. Today, companies need more and more technically advanced services and we have to ensure we can provide the solutions our customers need. This can be anything from the right hardware and switch solutions, to advanced security services, private networks and IoT solutions.
Every day, I'm on an exciting journey that could take us anywhere. As a company, but also in the market. This challenges me to keep up with the rapid pace of change. We also have a key empowering function in society – without our services, the lives of our customers, and society at large, would look very different. That's why I love my job.

I became interested in SEO (search engine optimisation) when I was a youngster building websites. I soon found out that search engines can increase traffic, depending on the content you create. You may have used Google or another search engine to get to this site? In such case, I've done a good job.
It's exciting to work for Telenor because we have such a large website that also is an important sales channel for us. We have thousands of different pages and we can always make the customer journey sharper, the design more user-friendly, and enhance the search engine optimisation of our texts. I've always been a techie and spent my evenings couch surfing wifi specifications. This was when I got interested in wifi and broadband. Today I'm a product manager with overall responsibility for our broadband products. One of my tasks is to ensure that our broadband matches customers' needs, that we keep to budget, and that our routers meet quality requirements and stand the test of time.
Telecom is a fast-moving industry and I need to constantly develop my skills to stay relevant. My managers therefore encourage me to allocate time for professional development and upskilling, which I really appreciate.
